Για ένατη συνεχόμενη χρονιά το Pre-Reworks Event υπόσχεται να μας δώσει μια πρόγευση του πολλά υποσχόμενου Reworks Festival, που θα πραγματοποιηθεί τον επερχόμενο Σεπτέμβριο. Το warm-up event, θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Σάββατο 10 Μαΐου στην Θεσσαλονίκη, με ένα εξαιρετικό line up απο σημαντικούς καλλιτέχνες .
Στο Pre-Reworks event κάθε χρόνο παρακολουθούμε ζωντανές εμφανίσεις και DJ sets καλλιτεχνών που κέρδισαν το χειροκρότημα στο Reworks Festival περασμένων ετών, μαζί με τα πιο δυνατά ονόματα της διεθνούς και εγχώριας μουσικής σκηνής που θα μας απασχολήσουν στο μέλλον. Στο φετινό line up παρουσιάζονται για πρώτη φορά στην Θεσσαλονίκη, ένα από τα πιο αγαπητά ονόματα στην Γαλλική σκηνή σήμερα. Οι dOP, θα βρεθούν στην σκηνή του Pre-Reworks Event φέρνοντας το μοναδικό τους live στην Θεσσαλονίκη.
Στην Θεσσαλονίκη θα επιστρέψει μετά απο 10 χρόνια και ο Derrick May. O μοναδικός θρύλος από το Ντιτρόιτ, θεωρείται ο πατέρας του Detroit Techno & House. Δημιουργός του “Strings of Life”, ως Rhythm is Rhythm, “The Dance”, “Salsa Life” κ.α έχει επιρρεάσει την πορεία της ηλεκτρονικής μουσικής όσο λίγοι από το 1988 έως σήμερα. Η εμφάνιση του στο τελευταίο Sonar Festival ήταν απο τα highlights της χρονιάς. Ισως η μεγαλύτερη στιγμή για την σκηνή της πόλης μας για την φετεινή χρονιά.
Ο Ison δε θα μπορούσε να λείπει πλέον στο καθιερωμένο του set το οποίο έχει γίνει θεσμός. Στην καλύτερη περίοδο του και με τους Actor One ενεργούς όσο ποτέ υπόσχεται ακόμη μια δυναμική εμφάνιση. Για πρώτη φορά στην Θεσσαλονίκη θα παρουσιαστεί και μια Ελληνίδα καλλιτέχνιδα που ζεί στο Λονδίνο και αποτελεί το νέο μέλος της Ninja Tune. H Giganta θα παρουσιάσει και εκείνη ένα πολλά υποσχόμενο Live .
Το line up κλείνουν οι Darktom & George Adi με τον σήμα κατατεθέν techno ήχο τους.

So May is approaching and for one more year we will gather in Thessaloniki taking a taste of what is going to happen in September on Reworks Festival. We talk about the pre-reworks event, which will take place on May 10th in Thessaloniki.
Every year Pre-reworks presents live shows and DJ Sets from the artists that rocked the dancefloors of last year’ s Reworks Festivals, combined with the hottest names of now. We are happy to host for the first time ever in Greece and Thessaloniki an act of the most beloved collectives of the French House scene today. We talk about dOP who will perform for the first time in Thessaloniki. We are honored to present the Detroit Techno legend Derrick May, one of the greatest figures in the history of the elecronic music returns as well after 10 years in the city and we expect hands in the air with big smiles singing and dancing.
We also got a bunch of wonderful Greek artists too. For the first time in Thessaloniki Reworks welcomes the solo live show of Giganta the latest signing of Ninja Tune. We can’t wait to listen to what she got on her mind on that night. Ison will hold his legendary set as he does for 8 years now on every Pre-reworks event making sure that the party will reach the sunrise and beyond! Plus darktom & George Adi will bring their own trademark techno sound.
